Lock Replacement on ESW French Doors
Lock replacement on ESW French doors (made by ESW windows and doors) that have been equipped with Hoppe Multi-point locking systems. When these locks get damaged, they should be replaced before it gets to a point where it stops working and freezes up. Once this happens, they locking points may have to be cut in order to open the door. The good thing is, simple lock replacement can avoid this altogether.
It is very difficult to open a french door when the multipoint lock has caused the door to become inoperable. The locking point may need to be cut to release the door panel. Sometimes the hinges have to be cut as well, just to get the door open. once the door is open, the lock can be replaced.
